Red Bird Design - Restorative Gardens

Services

Thank you for stepping into the Red Bird Design House. I look forward to our time together to unearth great goodness in your landscape. Let’s get started and get it done!

Good landscape planning and design afford a satisfying future.
Listening closely to clients to learn subtleties, underlying “stories” and instincts, sets the course for Red Bird’s design work. My job: respect your intentions, understand the unique needs of you and your family and manifest these. Give these a voice, a life – in your landscape, artistically, practically, and cooperatively – blending with the natural “intelligence” of your site.

Designs careful to balance practicality with ingenuity.
Perhaps a backyard, several acres, an intimate space that needs a boost, a plant shopping trip, or a “let’s bring it current” face-lift, Red Bird Design is available to help you realize your dreams.

Red Bird Design services reflect a continuum – selecting that which is perfect for you – whether a 100% DIYer, the “hire it all out-get a contractor in here”, or the “in-between-ers” (folks that wish to do some work and hire out the heavy lifting). Variables such as project size and complexity determine fees.

Red Bird Design services have included:

  • landscape design
  • landscape design and install facilitation
  • contractor networking
  • shopping for and obtaining plants and/or furnishings
  • site prep (staging or sprucing) for a special party/event (e.g., outdoor wedding, family reunion, etc.)
  • pottery design/planting
  • “coaching” (DIY support (Do-It-Yourself))
  • “curb appeal” intervention
  • consultation
  • and more...

Red Bird client profiles range:

  • in scope (from master planning to refreshing of a balcony)
  • in “garden skills” (from the green thumb to the novice) – and my design and consultation work reflects supporting these skills (or boosting them);
  • in budgets and time (from accommodating installation phases to immediate installation);
  • in age groups (from the start-up family to the older adult wishing to age-in-place);
  • in ability (special needs).

The Red Bird Design House is fortunate to have developed a strong network of contractors, artists, handymen, specialists, etc. to share with clients.
